Who Am I?

Hello Dear Reader, I’m Cait, author of The Dance Buzz. My main job is owning and operating a dance studio in upstate New York.  My background includes degrees in Dance and Business from the University of Buffalo (go Bulls!), I’ve been teaching dance for over 10 years and owning my own studio for the past four.

What Is The Dance Buzz About?

With over 600 students and two locations, running my studio keeps me on my toes (pun intended), but I enjoy posting here about day-to-day challenges in running a studio and teaching dance, along with my other passion, music.  And also more often than not, indulges my dorky obsessions of accounting and technology.

However you enjoy dance (be it dancer, studio owner, teacher or observer), I hope you find something here that helps you or gives you something to think about! Enjoy 🙂
